Year 10 Work Experience
At Beacon High we believe that experiencing the workplace is important for young people in developing their skills, raising aspirations and in leading the way for them to be successful adults. Now, with the economic impact of Covid-19, it is more important than ever that young people have the skills and competencies required for the world of work. This academic year, Year 10 will be undertaking work experience in the summer term. We will be closely monitoring the changing situation regarding Covid-19 and will adapt our Work Experience Programme accordingly. It is likely that we will adopt a blended model of virtual and 'real life' work experience but this will be reviewed in the Spring Term.
